Would like to put my 6 year old in Cub Scouts or 4H? Need info/opinions on either one!?

I'm looking for an activity to put my 6 year old in. He plays sports when they are in season, but I was looking for something a little more involved to put him in. I know nothing about either organization besides what I've read online from their sites (not very informational)...so I was wondering if anyone had some experience with either organization or if your little guys enjoy them. Thanks for your help!!
