How do I set up my subwoofer and floorstanding speakers to my laptop?

I'm not 100% sure on what i need to buy (if anything) in addition to my Polk Audio PSW10 subwoofer &Sony SSF-5000 Floor Standing 3-way Speaker (Pair). If it helps, i know the speakers can handle up to 150wats & the subwoofer which has a built in amplifier that has a 50W continuous output with 100W of peak power. Can someone please explain how i can hook up my ipod & laptop to these speakers & if i need any other equipment.
