Bass from stock speakers with a 4 channel amp?

Thinking of buying a 4 channel amp to hook up to my stock speakers in my 2001 grand prix gt se was wondering if polk audio 5 1/4 and a 6x9 coaxial polk audio speakers along with a jbl-a504 loud 4 channel amp would sound good and put out some beastly base , i want a sub but dad wont allow me to any advice on better or cheeper but good products would be greatly appreciated or sites as well, thanks
