My company 1SG has failed to turn in my compassionate reassignment, What are my options?

My son was diagnosed with infantile autism back in august. We decided to not request compassionate reassignment so that I could deploy. When the efmp paperwork finally showed up, we found that no care for autism exists in the fort polk area. So the only answer is a compassionate. I put the entire packet together and had it checked for completeness by several NCOs in my chain of command. I then gave the packet to my 1SG. He said he would take care of it...several weeks later, my commander hasn't even seen the packet, and my S-1 has no idea. What are my options here? What are the consequences for my 1SG?
