Inviting my really conservative friend over....scared of what he'll say?

You can try to talk to him before hand. Just tell him that you want everyone to have a good time and to save the political debates for another day. Otherwise you could just leave it alone. If he makes someone angry it is his own fault. At worst your other friends will probably just ignore him.
