How is living on post?

me and my boyfriend are planing on getting married and we will be stationed at fort Polk LA, and i wanted to know how is housing there? any one live there and want to be my friend? i would like to make friends there before i move there! if your an army wife stationed any where please message me back i am kinda scared to take on the military wife title want to talk to other females so i know what to expect
